The Program

Your four-year apprenticeship program gives you 1,360 classroom hours and a possibility of 8,000 hours as you train on the job. These are all paid hours.

In addition to health and welfare benefits, you will earn over $22.00 per hour by the end of your first year. You’ll work for the area’s most respected union sheet metal contractors on some of Chicago’s most prestigious construction projects.

Classroom training replicates the work you’ll perform on the job, both fabricating and installing heating and cooling systems, and creating architectural components for buildings.
